Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in transition manufacturing processes, is seeking a Process Operator/Crane to join their team. As a Process Operator/Crane, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting various phases of production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Process Operator/Crane **Location: Charlotte, NC** **Pay Range:** $22.00 per hour **Shift:** Monday- Friday 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM **What's the Job?** + Set up and operate automated equipment for various phases of transition manufacturing, including robotic grit blast, furnaces, laser cutters, and coating booths. + Interpret detailed drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications to determine necessary tools and procedures. + Load, unload, and handle materials using cranes, forklifts, and other material handling devices. + Perform minor maintenance on equipment, such as changing nozzles, verifying oil levels, and checking filters. + Maintain detailed records of operations, assist quality teams with measurements and testing, and ensure safety procedures are followed. **What's Needed?** + 2 to 4 years of experience working with manufacturing processes, especially with stainless alloys. + Proficiency in reading blueprints, metrology, and visual weld inspection. + Basic understanding of electrical schematics and shop mathematics. + Ability to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. + Certification in forklift, crane operation, and LPI is preferred. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting innovative processes. + Potential for full-time employment and extended assignment beyond 13 weeks. + Gain valuable experience with advanced equipment and manufacturing techniques. + Work with a team committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. + Contribute to high-quality production with significant impact on customer satisfaction. **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
