Your primary responsibility will be to will be involved with many aspects of the corporate tax function, including but not limited to, US Federal income tax, US State income tax, US State indirect tax and Global Tax Reporting, along with tax planning projects as needed..
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
Assist in the preparation of certain aspects of the quarterly tax provision, analysis of tax accounts, and tax reserves (both direct and indirect), including calculating book-to-tax adjustments and return-to-provision adjustmentsSupport the US Federal and State income tax return process, including performing supporting tax calculations and gathering relevant dataAssist with Business tax registration process.Assist in research and analysis of Federal and State tax law changes and its impact to the Company’s tax return and/or financial statementsAssist in the calculation of the annual extension and quarterly estimated tax payment processAdhere to processes related to US SOX compliance.Collaborate with Accounting, Payroll, Legal, IT and other internal teamsSupport special projects as they arise, including M&A activity, tax planning and tax modeling related to legislative changes and as business needs ariseAssist in research and resolution of various federal and state income and non-income tax audits and noticesQualifications
1-2 years of relevant tax experience from a public accounting firm (Big 4 and middle market)BS/BA in accounting or financeProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of OneSource Provision software and Alteryx or aptitude to be trainedEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong sense of ownership of responsibilities and meeting goalsGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and self-directed with minimal supervisionCPA or CPA eligible preferredThe ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence, be a team player, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing environment.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
