Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in power management systems, is seeking an Assembler to join their dedicated team. As a an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Assembler **Location:** Sherman, TX **Pay Range:** $17.50/hr temp-to-perm **Shift:** 6AM to 2:30PM with occasional week and weekend overtime **Responsibilities** + Assemble metal enclosures following **blueprints and specifications** . + Perform welding tasks to join metal components. + Operate metalworking equipment such as: + Press brakes + Shears + Other fabrication machines + Inspect and test completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. + Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures. + Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. + Conduct routine maintenance on equipment when needed. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Proven experience in: + Metal assembly + Welding + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Skilled in operating metalworking machinery. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Basic math proficiency. + Physically capable of lifting heavy materials (up to specified weight). + Strong organizational and time‑management skills. **Preferred Qualifications** + Welding or metal fabrication certification. + Experience constructing metal enclosures. + Familiarity with power management systems. **Key Skills** + Welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) + Metal fabrication + Blueprint reading + Machine operation (press brake, shear, etc.) + Strong organization and time management + Effective communication and teamwork + High attention to detail + Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment **Working Conditions** + Manufacturing environment with fluctuating temperatures. + Frequent lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. + Required use of appropriate **PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)** . **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment + Potential for overtime and increased earnings + Collaborative team atmosphere + Development of valuable skills in metal fabrication and assembly + Supportive work culture focused on safety and quality **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
