As a Business Manager in the US Private Bank Investments business, you will partner with front office investments leadership to optimize business performance by driving key initiatives. The Private Bank serves as a trusted partner to high and ultra-high net worth clients to help them achieve their financial goals. The investments business offers brokerage, investment management and investment advisory services to clients, and is one of the primary growth drivers of the Private Bank. 

Business Management optimizes business performance by driving key business initiatives as well as identifying and addressing issues with well thought out solutions. We act as trusted advisors to Business Heads by determining and implementing business strategy as well as identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of each business.

Job responsibilities

Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysisOrganize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniquesPartner with teams to continually promote the client & advisor experience. Communicate effectively with key partners in Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Digital, Marketing, Strategy, and Supervisory Management to understand projects, determine business requirements, and drive next stepsProject manage and deliver key work streams and tasksIdentify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controlsSupport audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverablesParticipate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related areaPrior experience in Business Management or COO roleProven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellenceDemonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agendaExcellent communication, organization and project management skillsAbility to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisionsIntermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independenceExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong time management and prioritization skills
