US-Grand Rapids-Quality Inspector I

Our client, a global leader in the power management industry, is seeking a **Quality Inspector** to join their team. **As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Receiving and Final Inspection Teams.** The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical aptitude, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
**What’s the Job?**
+ Provide inspection support for both Receiving and Final Inspection
+ Inspect products using blueprints, GD&T, and various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug and pin gauges
+ Evaluate product compliance and validate certified paperwork to ensure alignment with specifications
+ Prepare and complete First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements
+ Conduct Assembly Floor Layer Process Audits and 5S audits to ensure a safe, productive environment
**What’s Needed?**
+ Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience within the last 5 years
+ Minimum 3 years of quality department experience within the last 5 years
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and evaluating product compliance
+ Experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspections
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
+ High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
+ Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
+ Must reside within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI (relocation not offered)
+ Ability to read, understand, and follow product specifications in English
