Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, is seeking a US - FAA Assembly Mechanic to join their team. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production and maintenance of mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: FAA Assembly Mechanic**
**Location: Torrance, CA**
**Pay Range: $26.00/ hr**
**Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm**
**What's the Job?**
+ Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
+ Identify parts for replacement and determine when machines need new parts
+ Order necessary parts to ensure smooth operation
+ Operate powered industrial trucks and other machinery as required
+ Follow safety protocols and work under supervision to meet production goals
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field
+ Knowledge of machinery, tools, and safety procedures
+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate physical activity
+ U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws
