YOUR ROLE

The position is designed to execute the daily activities for US import, exports and post entry, as well as to execute month end financial reporting of customs' expenses for Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS). Customs shall be according to the general guidelines that are established by the GTO/GTC Teams. Import/Export daily activities are monitored for all modes of transportation via inland, ocean or air(Next Flight Out, Hand Carry or Charter requirements).

Resolve shipment data insufficiencies for imports and exportsPost Entry CorrectionsPerform Duty Rate AnalysisReport Customs' Financials to BusinessProcess Service Provider Invoices for paymentPartner Government Agencies' ReportingCustoms Entry Data Analysis and Auditing

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of experience in US CustomsKnowledge and use of Microsoft OfficeBasic accounting and foreign trade knowledgeGeneral knowledge of US Imports, Exports and Post EntryOccasional travel within North AmericaAbility to work onsite in Troy, MIMust be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
