Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to efficiently load and unload trucks, operate sit-down forklifts, and utilize hand-held terminal scanners in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks promptly and safely.Operate sit-down electric forklifts (Toyota) with precision.Utilize a hand-held terminal (HHT) scanner for inventory management.Maintain a pace of unloading 6 trucks per hour, allocating 30 minutes for offloading and 30 minutes for moving materials.Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced, cross-dock environment.Proficiency with RF scanners.Experience in material handling and loading operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using hand scanners.Previous forklift experience in material handling or loading operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is for the 2nd shift, from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM. The facility is not climate-controlled, resulting in warm conditions during the summer and cold conditions in the winter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
