Job Title: Quality Analyst
Job Description
The Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet or exceed quality standards by performing a variety of quality control tests and analyses during different stages of the production process. This position requires the ability to work all shifts as needed to support production quality and new product development.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality control tests on products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.Record and analyze statistical data to validate existing standards or identify deviations.Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, or procedures and suggest new ones.Facilitate effective communication between management and operators.Review and prepare documents for ISO 9001 and internal audits, ensuring timely completion of LPA’s.Perform visual and dimensional inspections on all color programs to verify compliance with customer requirements.Review vendor-supplied documentation for accuracy and compliance, preparing documentation for acceptance or rejection.Prepare design samples and range boards.Assign and review work with quality technicians while training and working effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds.Communicate effectively in writing to develop and write work procedures, policies, reports, instructions, and other documents.Identify, segregate, and prepare required documents for non-conforming materials, reporting immediately to appropriate personnel.Complete customer QN Investigations by providing QC Manager with pertinent data of failure modes, clean points, and lot traceability.Oversee floor QC issues by ensuring the completion of daily firefighting of floor quality issues and decision making based on established acceptable criteria.Oversee GP-12 safe launches, including training GP-12 inspectors, collecting and analyzing data, and writing inspection reports.Essential Skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, QA applications, and general math.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience with Green Belt and CAPA methodologies.Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the plant, including mentoring, training, and root cause analysis.3 years of experience in Quality management systems with knowledge of statistical process controls, preferably in the plastics industry.Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with high volume, fast-moving consumer goods.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience providing Quality Systems training to employees.Technical writing experience is preferred.Demonstrated experience in leading teams and taking initiative.Work Environment
The position operates primarily during the first shift (6am-2pm), with occasional off-shift support as needed. The role is situated in a manufacturing environment that involves high volume and fast-moving consumer goods, requiring attention to detail and adherence to good manufacturing practices.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
12 holidays shut down the week between Christmas and New YearTuition reimbursement Profit sharing
