**Job Title: Clean Room Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Clean Room Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency within our manufacturing processes. You will operate and maintain SMT machines, collaborate with various departments, conduct quality control inspections, and strive to meet production targets while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
**Responsibilities**
+ Understand and follow company requirements for employee safety and product quality.
+ Report potential workplace hazards such as broken or malfunctioning machines immediately.
+ Ensure the highest product quality and manufacture products per MPI or SMT instructions.
+ Operate SMT machines, including making adjustments and performing tasks from feeder setup through SMT machine operation under direct supervision.
+ Perform maintenance on feeders and machine accessories as necessary.
+ Monitor consumables for SMT lines and setup.
+ Collaborate with Stockroom, Engineering, Programming, and Quality departments to ensure high-quality assembly production.
+ Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors about job-related aspects, reporting issues with machines, materials, or personnel, and offering solutions where possible.
+ Maintain complete and accurate documentation as required.
+ Learn and uphold company standards to maximize customer satisfaction and work efficiency.
+ Strive to achieve company-specified production targets.
+ Keep workspace clean and organized to ensure safety and productivity.
+ Operate various machines related to the manufacturing process.
+ Stay updated on assembly and maintenance instructions and proactively acquire necessary certifications.
+ Inspect equipment, perform maintenance and repairs, and recommend machine adjustments to improve performance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in assembly, soldering, SMT, electronic assembly, electronics, production, blueprint reading, microscope usage, and inspection.
+ Strong commitment to following safety rules and procedures and utilizing safety equipment.
+ Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift or push weights up to 50 pounds.
+ Flexibility in shift scheduling, including overtime and holiday shifts.
+ Basic English proficiency for reading, speaking, understanding, and communication.
+ Ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams.
+ Proficiency in soldering, circuit board handling, surface mount technology, troubleshooting, electrical systems, and schematic reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Level 1: 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Level 2: 3-4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Level 3: 5+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean room setting with diverse manufacturing technologies. Shifts may include overtime and holidays, and you will need to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson City, Nevada.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Carson City,NV.
