Responsibilities + Prepare and cook meals for up to 140 residents, ensuring quality and nutrition standards are met. + Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by washing dishes and busing tables. + Assist with food preparation, tray line service, and operate as a barista when necessary. + Deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests, enhancing their dining experience. Essential Skills + Experience in food service or fast-food environments. + Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. + Ability to stand on feet for extended periods during shifts. + Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work every other weekend. Work Environment The role is based at a retirement home community in Wichita, KS, specifically within Ascension Living Via Christi Village. The work schedule alternates between 7 AM to 7 PM and 6 AM to 6 PM shifts, providing a structured yet dynamic workday. Employees are expected to work every other weekend, providing a balance of work and personal time. The facility offers a fast-paced environment where teamwork and flexibility are key to success. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
