We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook to join our team at a cozy home with only 32 residents in Wichita. This role requires someone who can create delicious home-cooked meals and enjoys working in a close-knit environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals following recipes and instructions.Ensure all meals are of high quality and meet nutritional standards.Assist with dishwashing and busing tables in the cafeteria after cooking.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.Adapt to a flexible work schedule to accommodate the needs of the kitchen.Provide excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents.
Essential SkillsExperience in food service and meal preparation.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Strong customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Capability to remain on feet during shifts.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a fast food or food service environment is preferred.Previous dishwasher experience is a plus.Hospitality and food preparation skills are beneficial.

Work Environment
The work location is in Wichita, KS, at a retirement community. The work schedule for cooks is 6a-6p, with flexibility required. Servers work 7a-7p on varying days each week. The environment is supportive, with a focus on quality service and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
