Urgent Care Full Time Nurse Practitioner Float

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients seeking urgent medical care, as well as occupational health services. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be willing and able to float between our eight urgent care centers as needed to support staffing and ensure consistent, high-quality care across all locations. Our urgent care centers operate seven days a week. The Nurse Practitioner will work three 12-hour shifts per week, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited programMinimum of 3 years of experience in urgent care or ER preferredStrong clinical skills and the ability to work independently

Certification/ Licensure:

Current Nurse Practitioner license in NJCertification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Active NJ CDS and DEA licenseBLS certification required.Obtain National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification within 6 months of hire.
