URBN is searching for an Inventory Analyst to join the Global Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will have a data-oriented and analytical background. The Inventory analyst must be able to effectively communicate among different parties and work well with multiple groups/brands even when there are competing priorities.
Role Responsibilities Help to establish plans for where inventory lives in our ever evolving and complex fulfillment network.Inventory Placement accuracy and adherence to said plan.Prescribed inventory placement adherence through robust tracking and monitoring of real time inventory placement and PO writing guidelinesVigilance for errors/deviationsImproving current state and eliminating roadblocks to an optimal networkWorking with brands on improving limiters to an effective spread of inventory throughout our network (exceptions, PO split minimums)Becoming our subject matter expert on future automation in the inventory management spaceBeing proactive on stockholding/capacity managementCoordinate across data science, brand forecasts & import timelines, CP and site plans to keep sites healthy and flowing while achieving optimal downstream cost impacts (packages per order) Role Qualifications 2+ years in supply chain field (or applicable internship experience)Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related fieldStrong excel skills and competency in building modelsStrong communication skills; able to effectively get points across internal and external teamsAbility to work successfully in an ever-changing environmentStrong attention to detail and good organization skills#LI-MH3
