This role sits in URBN, our shared service function within the HR & Talent Department. URBN supports and works across all brands (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie & Free People) within Europe Retail.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain first-hand experience in all things HR & Recruitment in a dynamic and creative environment. Throughout this 12-month placement, you will be given the opportunity to maximise your potential with stimulating work and inspirational colleagues.
What You'll Be Doing Provide admin support across HR, Learning & Development & Recruitment teamsSupport with the employee lifecycle (new starters, leavers, contract changes etc.)Complete referencesConduct right to work checksAssist with creating and developing business-wide communications that captivate and engage URBN employeesParticipate in ad hoc HR, Learning & Development & Recruitment projects with the teamAttend careers fairs to help attract talent to URBNSupport with Assessment Centres & Work Experience ProgrammeAssist the team in producing monthly reports and managing trackersManage and respond to queries in the HR InboxCoordinate the preparation of training courses and events (booking rooms, arranging equipment, etc.)Manage the HR team intranet pageAssist with benefits adminResearch into new, competitive rewards and benefits Contribute fresh, new ideas to inspire and excite our people What You'll Need You must be a 2nd year undergraduate student at a UK University undertaking an accredited placement year or currently working in one of our URBN storesYou must be available for 1 year full time from July 2026 until July 2027A passion and enthusiasm for the URBN brands and what we representAbility to multitask, effectively manage workload and to work to deadlines and targetsUnderstanding of and ability to work within principles of equal opportunities, data protection and with regard of confidentialityHigh level of attention to detailAbility to be creative with tools such as Canva, Powerpoint, AdobeGood user knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook packages#LI-GC1 #URBN
