Role Summary

You will be responsible for supporting the Branch Merchandising function to drive the brand strategy for each territory. Managing stock levels in stores within planned requirements vs. capacities, ensuring cover targets are maintained and optimising FP Sell-through by closely managing the allocation and replenishment process to minimise MD risk.

 

This role would suit a commercial individual who is analytical with a keen attention to detail. 

What You'll Be Doing Analysing performance in all stores with a particular focus on high density and top 20 stores on a weekly basis- identify trends, risks and opportunities.Be the main point of contact for some specific districts, with regular meetings and store visits to support this. This includes visits to mainland Europe. Share finding and analysis with wider business. Gain full understanding of the events calendar to support planning within this region.Be able to contribute to financial planning and forecasting by store, supported by senior planner.Planning weekly priority for allocations, giving guidance to core planning teams.Support senior planner with Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly trading reporting.Gain full understanding of allocation and replenishment tools to support and guide on opportunities to improve existing processGain an understanding of the space planning process and collate information from
stores at set times of year to improve density planning process.Consolidate weekly Retail feedback and share with the Product teams – communicating clear actions.Regular branch visits and zoom walk throughs to review opportunities to help
maximize sales in stores and providing feedback for the planning and buying teams with clear actions.Identify stock consolidation opportunities both in season and at season close. Ensure
stock is optimized across locations to maximise FP sell through.Identify high MD risk stores and ensure stock levels are closely managed.Support senior merchandiser on new store opening planning pre-opening and trading
post-opening. What You'll Need Experience at Assistant Merchandiser level is essential, ideally with experience in Branch Merchandising.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of Retail systems is preferable.Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines, being flexible and
adaptable to changing priorities.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnershipsDemonstrate logical analysis and positive problem-solving skills.Ability to analyse, present and communicate information in a manner that allows
informed decision-making.Ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them.Finding opportunities to achieve profit, using trading mentality to support and develop product areas. The Perks
