**Job Title: Upholsterer**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an upholsterer in a dynamic OEM furniture building environment. This role involves wrapping fabric to specifications from blueprints, stapling fabric with precision using an air staple gun, and cutting, trimming, and assembling furniture pieces such as chairs, benches, and seats. You will be actively engaged in both standing and sitting positions while using hand and semi-power tools in a job shop setting where each piece of furniture could have different colors or patterns.
**Responsibilities**
+ Wrap fabric to blueprint specifications.
+ Staple fabric accurately using an air staple gun.
+ Cut, trim, and assemble various furniture pieces.
+ Utilize hand and semi-power tools effectively.
+ Work in a job shop environment with diverse furniture designs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Proficient in upholstery techniques.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Previous experience in furniture production.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in sewing and upholstering.
+ Mechanical aptitude in furniture assembly.
**Work Environment**
The role operates on a 1st Shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
