**Job Title: Upfitter** Job Description We are seeking an experienced and skilled Upfitter to join our team, specializing in the assembly and fabrication of vocational trucks. This role involves working with hydraulic and 12v electrical systems, following blueprints and diagrams, and ensuring installations meet established standards. Responsibilities + Assemble vocational trucks through the application of hydraulic, 12v electrical, and fabrication techniques. + Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to ensure accurate installations. + Accurately read and utilize measuring tools, including calipers, tape measures, and squares. + Perform hose and fitting assembly, routing, and plumbing, including pressure setting and testing. + Read electric schematics and perform wire harness assembly, routing, and terminating. + Conduct system setup and testing to ensure functionality and compliance. + Utilize power tools such as drills, impact wrenches, and grinders for build processes. Essential Skills + Strong mechanical aptitude and a technical understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems. + Knowledge of basic hydraulics and 12-volt electrical systems. + Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. + Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques. + Experience with a variety of power tools and equipment. + Ability to adjust pressures and reliefs effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical college degree preferred or completion of a structured on-the-job training program. + Experience with mechanical design or practical experience in hydraulics, structural, or mechanical layout. + Basic math skills and ability to operate plasma cutters and oxygen/acetylene torches.
