Job SummaryResponsible for delivering and supporting training programs that ensure front-line employees are fully prepared to meet operational, safety, and compliance standards. This role partners closely with unit leadership and HR to assess training needs, deliver effective on-the-job training (OJT), and maintain accurate training records. The Trainer ensures that all training activities align with company policies, local regulatory requirements, and operational goals. This position reports directly to the Director, Human Resources, with a dotted line to the Director, Learning & Development, North America.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and administer training initiatives for union-represented and non-union operational employees.
Conduct needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultation with managers and employees.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, adjusting programs as needed to improve outcomes.
Maintain accurate training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Coordinate and manage the unit's training calendar, course logistics, and enrollment across all shifts.
Facilitate new hire orientation process to ensure consistent onboarding experiences delivered to all employees.
Support and coach Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in delivering effective OJT.
Track and report on 0–90-day retention metrics and recommend training interventions.
Serve as the primary local point of contact for training-related inquiries and support.
Ensure training aligns with local compliance, safety, and operational standards.
Deliver and support leadership training initiatives for front-line supervisors and leads, in alignment with regional and corporate programs.
Partner with Learning & Development to implement professional development programs and ensure consistency.
Collaborate with Unit Trainers across locations to ensure alignment on best practices across North America.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience required.
Work Experience
At least three (3) years of experience in training, operations, hospitality, catering, or a related field is required.
Experience delivering on-the-job training and supporting the delivery of leadership development programs is highly desirable.
Experience in a multicultural, fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and participant-centered training.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with LMS platforms and web-based training tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Multilingual skills are desirable.
Language / Communication Skills:
Expresses oneself clearly and effectively when speaking and writing to individuals and groups; listening attentively and insuring communication is understood by all parties involved
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/ Vietnamese/Hindi/Polish a plus.
