Unit Technician

Job Title: Unit Technician

Responsibilities

Conduct performance testing on various unit types and provide accurate test reports.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to unit performance.Participate in risk assessments and health and safety investigations.Assist Technical Support with site visits as needed.Carry out customer end-of-line witness tests and assist with noise tests.Engage in quality investigations and structured problem-solving for external customer complaints and internal concerns.Perform testing requirements such as pressure tests, evacuation and charging, refrigeration performance testing, electrical component testing, and mechanical/electrical installations.Build test rigs and assist with developing test plans.

Essential Skills

Good communication skills and capability of liaising with office and shop floor personnel.Flexibility to work overtime at short notice.Experience with blueprints & schematics

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
