**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Union Mechanic, you will support the operation, inspection, and maintenance processes in an assigned facility.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function which is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and facilities.
**What You’ll Do:**
• Partner with internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts
• Perform inspections and repairs to assigned facility interior and exterior areas. This includes HVAC units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, etc.
• Directly complete ongoing preventive and repairs as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts. Report on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations,
• Complete Hazard Assessments. Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
**What You’ll Need:**
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Valid Driver's license required for this position.

**What You’ll** **Need**
+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
+ 1 year of related experience and/or training.
+ Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
+ Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
+ Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
+ 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ 2+ years' experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 2+ years' experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
+ 2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
+ 2+ year experience of following and demonstrating safety standards
+ 1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems

The minimum salary for the position is $56,721.60 annually [or $27.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the is $63,024 annually [or $30.30 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
