Union Mechanic - 2nd Shift
**About the Role:** Asa CBRE Union Mechanic, you will support the operation, inspection, andmaintenance processes in an assigned facility. This jobis part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems. **What You’llDo:** • Partnerwith internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts • Performinspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas. Thisincludes HVAC units, Boilers, Cooling Towers, etc. • Reviewand assign work orders to team members. Directly complete ongoing preventiveand repairs as needed. • Conductfacility inspections and due diligence efforts. Report on conditions thatimpact client occupancy and operations, • CompleteHazard Assessments. Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances,Codes, or Laws. • Havesome knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience inapplying them. • Leadby example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. • Impactthe quality of own work. • Workwithin standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meetdeadlines. • Exchange straightforwardinformation, ask questions, and check for understanding. **What You’llNeed:** • HighSchool Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-relatedexperience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and educationwill be considered. • Meetthe physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more. • Abilityto use existing procedures to solve standard problems. • Experiencewith analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. • In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. • Organizationalskills with a strong inquisitive mindset. *Shouldany element of this Job Description conflict with the provisions of anapplicable collective bargaining agreement, the terms and conditions of thecollective bargaining agreement will prevail. The minimum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $65,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
