**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Union Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
+ Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Complete upkeep and repair records as required.
+ Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment systems. Troubleshoot and repair installed systems including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
+ Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Maintain lighting systems throughout facility. This includes cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
+ Maintain property grounds by performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, and snow removal.
+ Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
+ Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

What You’ll Need

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1 year of related experience and/or training.
Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as; routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
2+ years' experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years' experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
2+ year experience of following and demonstrating safety standards
1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems

The minimum salary for the Reliability Engineer position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
