**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Union Engineer, you will be a valued member of our team, supporting a major telecommunications company. This mobile position is dedicated to maintaining and ensuring the operational excellence of our cloud servicing sites. You will be responsible for site equipment maintenance and instrument calibration processes. A background in data centers, chillers, or similar critical infrastructure environments is highly preferred. As a mobile engineer, you will be provided with a company van, all necessary tools, a uniform, a gas card, and an iPhone to support your daily tasks.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Technical Troubleshooting & Restoration: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment failures.
+ Network Problem Resolution: Address and resolve major network problems that impact multiple business locations, major network elements, or site outages.
+ Documentation & Accuracy: Verify the accuracy and maintain all required documentation related to equipment maintenance, repairs, and system configurations.
+ Maintenance Schedules & Configuration Management: Maintain routine maintenance schedules, system configurations, and technical reference materials.
+ Training & Documentation: Participate in user training sessions for system and application updates/enhancements. Create clear and concise training documentation to support these updates.
+ Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and develop innovative solutions to challenges.
+ Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing in-depth knowledge of your job discipline and a broad understanding of other related disciplines within the Engineering and Technical Services function.
+ Leadership and Collaboration: Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work collaboratively to build consensus and effectively communicate to achieve common goals.
+ Impact & Influence: Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams, contributing to the overall success of the telecommunications client's operations.
+ Autonomy & Guidance: Work within established guidelines and policies, exercising sound judgment and making informed decisions.
+ Communication: Effectively explain complex or sensitive information to stakeholders as needed.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a formal diploma.
+ Preferred Experience: Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
+ Physical Requirements: Must meet the physical requirements of the role, including but not limited to stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Analytical Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment based on the analysis of information from multiple sources.
+ Adaptability: Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and adapt to changing circumstances.
+ Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills coupled with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Engineer position is $105,809.60 annually [or $50.87 per hour]. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
