**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Union Engineer, you will be a part of a teamresponsible for a buildings mechanical & HVAC systems equipment operationand maintenance.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Have thorough knowledge of the building’s mechanical,HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure and operations.
+ Perform maintenance and repairs of all equipmentincidental to the operation of the building mechanical and HVAC systems
+ Perform general labor work as assigned includingreceiving deliveries, loading, unloading, moving materials, and putting awaystock.
+ This includes, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and painting.
+ Perform or oversee building checks of mechanicalareas and logging conditions during daily rounds.
+ Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of ownjob discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within thefunction.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince othersto reach an agreement.
+ Manage shift personnel ensuring all employeesfollow standard policies and procedures.
+ Maintain all required licenses and certificates.
+ Respond quickly to emergency situations,summoning additional assistance as needed.
+ Explain difficult or sensitive information.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Mandatory Certificate of Qualification (Q-01/Q-99)for Refrigeration System Operating Engineer issued by the New York City FireDepartment.
+ A35 - Operate and Maintain Air Compressors
+ F60 – Fire Guard for Torch Operation
+ G60 – Torch Operation
+ S12 – Citywide Sprinkler System
+ S13 – Standpipe System
+ S14 – Standpipe System, multi zone
+ S95 – Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems
+ F01 – Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment
+ P98 – Supervise Fuel Oil Transfer
+ P99 – Low Pressure Oil Burner Operator
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade schooldiploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manageror supervisory experience preferred.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this roleincluding stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on theanalysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective onexisting solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advancedinquisitive mindset.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Engineer position is $110,260.80 annually [or $53.01 per hour]. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale. This role will provide the following benefits: Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
