Job Description:

Days: Sunday, Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday (Days maybe subject to change)

Hours: Start time could be 9:00 am - 11:00 am (All times are subject to change

End time could be 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Job Summary

Employees will be working in a warehouse environment. Position will require ample lifting, standing and walking. Perform administrative work that requires working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Perform general procedures and tasks while exhibiting effective communication, problem solving and effective time management skills.  Work with a moderate degree of supervision.  This position may also perform advanced administrative responsibilities including preparation and analysis of more complex reports, compilation of information from various sources, handling small scale projects and analysis using various software packages. Will respond appropriately to questionable hazardous material packages to check, correct and/or hold packages as required. 

Responsibilities:

Answers telephone, inputs data, completes filing etc.Prepares and maintains multiple reports/presentationsPerforms facility auditsDispatches hazardous materials responders as neededAssists management and internal customers with various tasksPrints and matches appropriate paperwork to corresponding loads.Utilizes various computer applications in sync to perform duties.

Qualifications:

Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage, and manipulate equipment and/or packages weighing up to 70 poundsAvailability to work five days a weekAvailability to work extended days/hours during Peak Season (November 1st – December 31st)High school diploma, GED, or international equivalentProficient with Microsoft Office productsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentBend, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot intermittently during the workdayPart-time: 3-5 hours per day, 5 days per weekFull-time: up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per weekReport to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basisAbility to work varying shifts, additional hours and/or overtime depending on service needsAssist in moving packages weighing up to 150 poundsLift packages to heights above the shoulder and lower to foot level as appropriateGrasp, reach and maintain control of activities associated with processing packagesPerform tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, use of computer or data scanning device and filingHave a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditionsWork at elevated heights, in enclosed spaces and on uneven walk surfacesWork in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity (climatic conditions), exposure to dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noiseoutside, inclement weatherWork cooperatively in a diverse work environmentDemonstrate cognitive ability to: follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers, concentrate, memorize, and recall identify logical connections and determine sequence of responsePerform other functions that may be assigned

Payrate for this position is $21/hr.
