The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of managing and maintaining properties that support scientific research, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with life science properties, including stringent regulatory requirements, complex mechanical systems, and specialized laboratory equipment. The role is onsite in New Brunswick, NJ USA. **What You'll Do:** + **Laboratory and Life Science Facility Management:** Oversee the daily operations of properties that house life science or laboratory facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. + **Equipment and Systems Maintenance:** Manage the maintenance and repair of specialized laboratory equipment, HVAC systems, and other critical infrastructure that supports scientific research and experiments. + **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure that all property management practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations specific to life science environments, including OSHA, FDA, and EPA guidelines. + **Tenant Relations:** Work closely with tenants in the life sciences industry to understand their unique needs and provide tailored support to facilitate their research and development activities. + **Emergency Response:** Develop and implement emergency response plans tailored to the risks associated with laboratory environments, including chemical spills, biohazard containment, and other potential hazards. + **Vendor Management:** Coordinate with vendors who specialize in laboratory equipment, hazardous materials handling, and other services critical to maintaining a life science facility. + Manage a team of engineers, oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff. **What You'll Need:** _To perform this job optimally, an individual should be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
