Job Description
We are seeking to build an underground crew for a project at Camp Blanding in Starke, Florida. This role involves using heavy equipment such as mini excavators and tools like shovels to dig ditches on recently cleared land in order to run underground electrical wiring.
Responsibilities
Monday - Thursday (6am - 4:30pm) OT could present itself.Base clearance is required.Operate mini excavators and other heavy equipment for trenching and ditch digging.Install underground electrical wiring efficiently and safely.Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.Maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.Essential Skills
Experience with electrical underground work.Proficiency in using mini excavators and other construction equipment.Familiarity with trenching and underground utilities.Experience working on a commercial construction job site.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.Must possess personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hardhat, steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, working pants, and a hi-vis shirt or vest.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work takes place outdoors on an active commercial job site in Florida, where summer conditions prevail. You will be working alongside other subcontractors, and adherence to safety standards, including the use of PPE, is strictly enforced.

This is a Contract position based out of Starke, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
