**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Performs entry level General/OB/ and/or Vascular ultrasound procedures for physician review. + Performs exams based on patient anatomy and habitus. + Assists Radiologists and other Physicians in the performance of exams and procedures that require a physician. + Performs exams in all areas of the hospital such as portables on units, portables in ED and portables in OR. + Prepares patients for interventional procedures. + Maintains the integrity of a sterile field during procedures that require one **Job Requirements** **Required** High School Diploma/GED Six months experience performing ultrasound in a clinical setting either training or working Completion of hospital-based ultrasound training program Basic Life Support - CPR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) **Preferred** Associates Degree **Where You'll Work** At **Dignity Health** , living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
