We are seeking a skilled UH-60 Blackhawk Technician to perform comprehensive maintenance on UH-60 helicopters. The role involves performing a full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repairs, modifications, inspections, and servicing of aircraft using approved methods and techniques. The successful candidate will certify work accomplished and ensure all tasks meet high standards of quality and safety.
ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting on engines and systems.Utilize the Federal Supply System effectively.Read and interpret mechanical manuals and schematics.Understand and interpret all instruments.Use special test equipment and tools for maintenance tasks.Research sections of Aviation Facilities Division for accurate maintenance.Conduct full system checkouts on all aircraft systems.Perform mechanic test flight duties.Complete servicing of aircraft.
Essential SkillsMinimum 4 years of experience on H-60 or UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters.Strong background in UH-60 or H-60 maintenance.Ability to perform preventive maintenance on helicopters.Experience with Army TAMMS, HH-60, SH-60, and Blackhawk models.Ability to read and understand mechanical manuals and schematics.Experience in using special test equipment and tools.
Additional Skills & QualificationsUS Army Experience required.Tools must be etched and shadowed.Ability to obtain necessary security clearance.

Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled hangar, ensuring comfort and efficiency in your work. The standard work attire includes a T-shirt, work pants, and steel toe boots. The work schedule is from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. This role begins as a 6-month contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
