U.S. Grants Administrator – Washington, DC

Our client, a mission-driven organization that seeks to pursue systemic change in the child welfare and educational systems, encourages bipartisan cooperation in government, and supports meaningful connections to Judaism, is looking for a Grants Administrator to manage the U.S. portfolio based out of the Washington, DC office!

Responsibilities:

Administering all components of the grant cycle for U.S. grantees, including distributing applications, docket preparation, award letters, payment processing, and reporting.Managing the grantmaking database to ensure collection and maintenance of current, relevant, and accurate data.Developing and maintaining custom dashboards, reports, and analytics to support effective grantmakingTracking spending and budgeting for U.S. grantmaking efforts.Providing technical assistance to grantees with online application and reporting processes.Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with grantees, related organizations, other foundations, and Aviv's professional staff and Board.Creating clear, concise, and insightful written materials, presentations, and other materials for the Board and senior staff.Assisting with event planning and other foundation-wide functions, as needed.

Qualifications:

2-5+ years of grants administration experience and a bachelors degree is required.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders in a flexible and warm manner.Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and timeline for deliverables.Creative and innovate thinker, passionate about advancing the organization's mission.

About the Role:
