The JPMorgan Chase U.S. Benefits Design and Strategy team is responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing and managing changes to benefit programs, monitoring plan performance, regulations and marketplace trends.
As a U.S. Benefits Design and Strategy Vice President, you will support plan operations, evaluate opportunities for improvements, and collaborate across functions to provide the best possible experience for employees. In this role, your primary responsibility will be in managing the prescription drug plan as well as serving as the lead for some of our key programs and/or pilot initiatives.
This is a full-time role based in Jersey City, NJ or Chicago, IL and is in-person/in-office five days a week. Occasional travel for meetings/conferences is expected but the role does not require regular travel.
Job responsibilities:
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the prescription drug benefit plan. This includes overseeing vendors, program administration, performance monitoring, process changes, digital/customer experience, member communications and escalated issues Support key programs and/or initiatives. You will be responsible for measuring the success of the programs, managing key partners and ensuring efficient operations Evaluating strategic opportunities that improve member experience, access to programs/care and financial transparency. This includes conducting research and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders Supporting procurement projects. This includes detailed focus on requirements, organized project management, regular communication with internal partners and preparing leadership materials Managing vendor implementations. This includes coordinating between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating decisions, escalating issues, and achieving timely launch of programs Partnering with key internal partners including Benefits Delivery & Customer Service, Wellness, Communications, HR technology, IT security, Legal, Sourcing, Product and Employee ExperienceRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree required 10 years work experience in corporate benefits, employer benefits consulting, or health plan/PBM Comprehensive understanding of prescription drug benefits, prescription drug pricing, prescription drug supply chain, and the market Ability to multi-task, work independently, project manager, meet deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables Experience working in a strategic, analytical and metric driven environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong project management skills MS Office Powerpoint and Excel proficiencyPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Large firm experience (50,000 plus employees) Experience facilitating or supporting large corporate procurement projects Experience facilitating or supporting large corporate vendor implementations Aptitude in math and statistics, with the ability to perform quantitative analysis and data interpretation
