Job Title: Turret Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Turret Operator with strong experiences in warehouse and distribution operations. This role requires the operation of various material handling equipment including turret trucks, forklifts, and cherry pickers, as well as performing general labor and material handler duties.

ResponsibilitiesOperate turret, forklift, and cherry picker for putting away and moving full pallets, racking units, boxes, and other items.Examine incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment daily.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, turrets, and cherry pickers.Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory control.Minimum of 2 years experience using RF scanners.High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong work ethic and willingness to learn.Ability to take constructive criticism positively.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is an 8-10 month project within a unionized warehouse setting. Work alongside 50-60 employees, reporting directly to the plant manager. Be prepared to work at heights of 60+ feet, with a dress code of jeans, polo or long sleeve shirt, and steel toe boots. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM, with availability required for weeknights and Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
