Tumbler Machine Operator
Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated tumbler machine operator to join our washer department. As a machine operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tumbling machines. Your primary responsibilities will include filling machines with the correct amounts of chemicals and parts, operating the machines to clean and smooth parts' edges, and measuring parts' dimensions with precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

Perform timely tumbling, degreasing, cleaning, and de-slugging of parts to specifications.Maintain cleanliness and fill equipment, tanks, and solutions, including minor lubrication tasks.Follow and seek improvements in existing tumbling procedures to develop new processes.Manage inventory supplies and inform the supervisor when necessary.Process multiple jobs and priorities efficiently by due dates and dispatch reports.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Ability to read blueprints and perform deburring, production, troubleshooting, and grinding tasks.Experience with chemical tumbling and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

ITAR Certification is required.Ability to interpret drawings, follow routers, and use shop math.Understanding of tolerances such as +/- .005.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
