Tube Mill Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tube Mill Operator to join our team for the 2nd shift. The role is ideal for individuals with 1-4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, who possess troubleshooting skills, and can effectively read setup sheets and utilize measuring tools.

ResponsibilitiesOperate tube mill machinery efficiently and safely.Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery to ensure smooth operations.Read and interpret setup sheets for daily production runs.Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure precision.Participate in machine operation tasks, including changeover and blueprint reading.Work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.Commit to maintaining a safe working environment.Essential Skills1-4 years of experience as a Tube Mill Operator in a manufacturing facility.Basic troubleshooting knowledge of tube mill machinery.Proficiency in reading setup sheets.Ability to use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures).Experience with tow motor operations and machine operation.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience operating a tow motor.Ability to use a computer to select running programs (Plex program).Experience as a cutoff operator or end welder.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in one of three manufacturing facilities on-site. The facility is non-climate controlled, with dock doors and fans to manage temperatures during warmer seasons. The role is for the 2nd shift, from 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
