**Job Title: Tube Laser Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Tube Laser Operator to efficiently operate and manage our tube laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will ensure precision in cutting operations on various materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. **Responsibilities** + Setup and operate tube laser cutting machine to perform precise cutting operations on various materials. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. + Conduct inspections of finished products using hand instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure they meet specifications. + Program and adjust laser settings to accommodate different materials and thicknesses, remedying any issues such as slag, burn-through, or burrs. + Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. + Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience operating tube laser cutting machinery. + Proficiency in using hand instruments for quality inspections. + Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with CNC programming and troubleshooting. + Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. + Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely. + Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the small shop feel in a new work facility, where teamwork is valued and your skills are appreciated. **Work Environment** Work in a clean, industrial welding shop with hours from Monday through Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with half days on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
