Job Description:

Administering client estates, estate planning and trust accounting.Administer Estates, including identifying, valuing, collecting and distributing Decedent's assets; preparation of estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns; maintaining accountings for estates and revocable trusts and preparing final accountings with receipts and releases; communicating with clients directly as well as with their banking representatives, investment advisors and accountantsPrepare documents for probate and other Surrogate's Court filingsPrepare estate and gift tax projections and calculate available generation-skipping transfer tax exemption and CLAT, GRAT and QPRT illustrationsPrepare spreadsheets reflecting alternative estate planning optionsCompile voluminous exhibits for tax filings and legal proceedingsPrepare clients' billing statements on a monthly basisPrepare incapacity documentsMaintain Trust & Estates department client documents database and locked filing cabinets containing original documents, including Wills of clientsMeet with clients and assist with execution of documents
