Apply now! **Location:** 1230 48th Ave - Menominee, Michigan 49858 **Position Summary:** This role is responsible for basic preventative, routine maintenance (i.e., changing oil, brakes, batteries, etc.) and repair of equipment **What You'll Do:** + Meets with supervisor/lead to discuss work order priorities + Completes work following work safety procedures and the direction of team leadership + Utilizes maintenance systems to ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance and repair work performed + Maintains a safe working environment and ensures completed work areas are clean + May assist with parts ordering as needed + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. **What You'll Need:** + High school or equivalent (GED) (Required) + Valid Driver’s License (required) + Basic Mechanic tools and toolbox (preferred) + Must be able to demonstrate and obtain SpartanNash certification for the safe driving of material handling equipment, tractors, and trailers (required) + Basic proficiency in the use of mechanical tools (required) + Previous mechanical experience with trailers (strongly preferred) Able to demonstrate and obtain inspector certification for DOT and brake inspection (includes required training and progression **Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
