Summary CHS Primeland is seeking a skilled crop applicator to fill the role of Truck Driver/Applicator. This role can report to either Rockford, WA or Worley, ID. The Truck Driver/Applicator plays a key role in safely applying fertilizer and crop protection products while providing exceptional service to local growers. This position is responsible for operating application equipment, delivering products, and supporting customers by educating them on product use and application techniques. The role also includes performing warehouse duties such as forklift operation, equipment maintenance, and loading products, along with ensuring compliance with all transportation and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will bring agricultural or operational experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining equipment and work environments to high standards. Responsibilities Under general supervision, apply fertilizer and crop protection products. May require use of a high clearance sprayer or floater.Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed.Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.Educate customers on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services.Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.Perform warehouse work to including driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.Operate hopper bottom trailer and tandem tender truckLift and load products - package dry fertilizer into totesEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment.Complete and document daily maintenance inspections.
