This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and productivity. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate trim press machinery to trim flash from die-cast or molded parts. + Load and unload parts into trim press dies according to specifications. + Inspect finished parts for defects such as cracks, deformities, or incomplete trimming. + Adjust machine settings and perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting. + Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, scrap, and downtime. + Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed. + Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. + Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S or lean manufacturing principles. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or basic mechanical drawings. + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. + Basic math and measurement skills. + Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
