About the role   

Our Treasury Operations team, composed of 8 people, is integrated into the Treasury Service Unit department focuses on delivering Finance support to the European and Middle East region in collaboration with our Global Business Services and the whole Solvay group.  

Treasury Bank Accounts Management Trainee you will learn the treasury operations related activities, such as bank account management, risk management and treasury systems management.  

 

You will be accountable for:   

Bank Account Management: creation, maintenance and closure of Solvay group bank accounts (worldwide scope); support with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process with the banks; update of Power of Attorney / list of signatories; participation in Bank Account Management and POA continuous improvement key projects; treasury archives (with banks, intragroup & third-parties)  

Risk Management & Documentation: assistance in internal control and external audit and update existing working procedures in TSU documentation center Confluence  

Treasury Systems Management (SAP & FIS Quantum): management of access rights, admin of static data and master files, data reconciliations  

 

We offer an internship (12 months) contract based on hybrid (2 days per week onsite) mode.

 

About you 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance or Data Management. 

 

Competencies: 

Fluency in English  

Google/Microsoft Suites knowledge (with SAP as a plus) 

Risk management and digital tools development are highly appreciated, but not mandatory 

 

Behaviors: 

Rigorous and organizational skills 

Highly analytical with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

Good interpersonal and communication skills 

 

About the pay 

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: 

€940 - €1040 per month in Portugal
