Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer
Description Local Candidates to the Detroit Metro Area Only Please: We are looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer to join our client's team in Northern Oakland County. Given this role will be supporting the Florida teams this opportunity is primarily remote but candidates will need to commute to the Northern Oakland location for trainings, team events, important meetings etc. This role is pivotal in driving deposit growth, enhancing cash management performance, and delivering tailored treasury solutions to business members. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and business members to provide expert guidance and optimize financial outcomes. Responsibilities: • Support the growth of deposits and improve cash management strategies to meet organizational goals. • Partner with lending and branch teams to identify opportunities, analyze business member needs, and recommend suitable treasury products and services. • Deliver consultative treasury solutions that strengthen business relationships and enhance member engagement. • Perform detailed analyses of treasury product offerings, including financial performance and contribution to strategic objectives. • Lead the collection of data and conduct competitive analysis to support strategic planning initiatives. • Compile and maintain documentation and procedures for the setup and management of treasury products and services. • Provide operational, analytical, and project support for treasury operations. • Conduct cash flow analysis and review financial statements to assist in decision-making. • Ensure internal and external support materials for treasury services are accurate and up-to-date. • Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and optimize treasury processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics is mandatory. CTP is highly preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management or related roles. • Background in banking or corporate treasury is strongly preferred. • Proficiency in financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting and interpreting financial statements. • Strong understanding of balance sheets and risk analysis. • Ability to collaborate effectively with lending teams and branches. • Familiarity with wire transfers, pricing strategies, and cash reconciliations. • Expertise in workflow analysis and daily cash management processes.
