Traveling Superintendent

Job Description:

We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee low voltage work on large-scale data center projects. This role involves managing installation and integration of complex low-voltage systems on projects valued at approximately $1B, with a $75M low-voltage package split between two Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee installation of low-voltage building systemsSupervise communications systems installationManage outside/inside plant cabling and structured cabling systemsCoordinate with security systems integrators, audio-visual system integrators, and communication system integrators

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2+ years in a similar superintendent roleExperience managing installation of low-voltage building systemsElectrical/Low Voltage systems expertiseData center experience highly preferred; will consider large-scale complex projects (hospitals, airports)

Technical Skills:

Communications systems installation supervisionOutside/inside plant cabling supervisionStructured cabling systems supervision

Preferred Credentials:

PMP or BICSI RTPM (Certified Technology Project Manager)Other desirable certifications: BICSI Certified Cable Installer, RCDD – Registered Designer

Additional Experience:

Security systems integrationAudio-visual systems integrationCommunication systems integration

Work Environment: This is a fully Traveling Superintendent position offering per diem and full benefits.

This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $72.00/hr.
