Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Traveling Product Installer to join their team. As a Traveling Product Installer, you will be part of the assembly department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Traveling Product Installer - Direct hire
**Location:** Clare, MI
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Education or equivalent certification.
+ Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
+ Minimum of three years of assembly/installation experience preferred.
+ Must have an active driver's license.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a tape measure test.
+ Ability to travel across the US - requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
**What's the Job?**
+ Assemble, pack, and install all products at the customer location or on the Plant floor.
+ Perform simple and complex assembly of parts according to work orders and blueprints.
+ Operate hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
+ Record all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order.
+ Maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean and healthy work environment.
