**Job Title: Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator** Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator with over 5 years of experience in operating full-size excavators, particularly around underground utilities. This role requires frequent travel between Knoxville and various locations, including KY, VA, IL, NC, GA, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively with other on-site workers. Responsibilities + Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently. + Perform grading, excavation, trenching, and fine grading tasks. + Work on civil construction and earthworks projects with a focus on underground utilities. + Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success. + Travel to various sites across multiple states as required. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience with full-size excavators and heavy equipment operation. + Proficiency in operating equipment around underground utilities. + Strong understanding of civil site and civil construction processes. + Ability to perform fine grading and earthworks tasks. + Effective communication skills and strong work ethic.
