Traveling Field Service Technician

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** REQUIRES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL ON A WEEKLY BASIS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES INCLUDING SOME WEEKENDS, to install equipment in new and relocating locations, providing great customer service while installing, diagnosing and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements at CVS locations in a service geography. This equipment includes POS (point of sale) registers, self checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, pharmacy, minute clinic and other related computer peripherals. This position involves driving/flying between CVS locations to service and install hardware, assisting other neighboring areas with workload, working normal day shift, on call for weekday evenings and rotating weekend and holiday coverage **Required Qualifications** All candidates must be able to travel extensively with overnight stays on a weekly basis in the U.S, including some weekends. Must be able to obtain a credit card or have ability to pay for out of pocket expenses for air, hotel, meals, etc on a weekly basis to be reimbursed by the company. Reimbursement could take several weeks. Valid Driver’s License with no major violations Ability to pass a substance/drug test and background test Ability to drive between CVS locations on daily basis Available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays 2+ years of technical knowledge and experience Must Reside in Kansas Ability to lift laser printers, servers, heavy equipment 75lbs and occasionally work on a ladder **Preferred Qualifications** Ability to troubleshoot hardware Excellent Customer Service skills Technical Certifications Technical Degree **Education** Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. Further education or Technical degree a plus Please replace this section with the Education Requirements **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $35.29 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
