**Job Title: Traveling Field Service Technician**
**Job Description**
The field service technician is responsible for diagnosing, installing, and repairing grain temperature and hazard monitoring equipment. The role requires the ability to identify the correct failure mode, utilizing technical manuals and specialized tools. Additionally, the technician will perform complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning in accordance with industrial standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and repair grain temperature and hazard monitoring equipment.
+ Use technical manuals and specialized tools for accurate diagnosis.
+ Perform complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning.
+ Ensure all work is performed following industrial standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Comfortable with heights and standing for prolonged periods.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly and repair.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma.
+ 1+ years of experience in a related field.
+ Basic understanding of IP networks is a plus.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position - you will be TRAVELING 50+% of the time throughout the Midwest, staying in hotels as needed.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
