Job Title: Traveling Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our team. You will be responsible for scheduling equipment ordering, coordinating equipment delivery, and overseeing contractor equipment installation. Your role will involve participating in pre-construction planning and effectively communicating progress, issues, and solutions throughout the project.

ResponsibilitiesSchedule equipment ordering with the supply chain.Coordinate equipment delivery with farm managers.Coordinate contractor equipment installation.Participate in pre-construction planning.Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to the supervisor throughout the project.Manage daily operations of sub-contract electricians and equipment installers.Ensure appropriate materials are at the project site in a timely manner to meet project deadlines.Communicate and resolve shipping schedules/conflicts with the supply chain manager.Perform and complete final inspection documentation.Communicate with capital planning and construction manager.Essential SkillsExperience in construction supervision and as a construction superintendent.Knowledge of commercial construction and subcontractor management.Understanding of general construction processes, accounting systems, construction phases, materials, and vendors.Possess high-level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious construction-related experience and/or education related to the construction field.Capability to operate a company vehicle or qualify for mileage reimbursement, contingent upon a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) review.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
