Department/Unit Overview: This 24 bed Surgical Unit is primarily orthopedic patients but will also have other general medical patients as well.  This unit is 70% orthopedic surgical patients and 30% medical patients.

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

Basic Life Support (BLS)

NIH Stroke Scale

Experience

Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
