**Welder - $120/day per diem, $30/hr, 2nd Shift. Start ASAP. 20 hours of OT.**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a skilled MIG Welder, specializing in welding mild and stainless steel to craft exhaust systems for diverse markets such as power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road sectors. Your role will primarily involve custom and production MIG welding, with some tack welding and exhaust assembly responsibilities. Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols is essential for success in this position.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel for exhaust systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to build products.
+ Engage in tack welding and assembly tasks as needed.
+ Assist with fabrication tasks such as operating a brake press, shear, and roller.
+ Adapt to various tasks throughout the shop to enhance learning and growth.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in MIG welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Experience in metal fabrication and welding processes.
+ Familiarity with plasma cutting, TIG welding, and wire feed techniques.
+ Comfortable using measuring tools like tape measures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Welding experience from farm work, school, or previous jobs.
+ Ability to work 12 hours of overtime per week.
+ Experience in operating fabrication machinery such as brake presses.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $36.00/hr.
